Guy L. “Pat” Capps, 87, of Little Rock, formerly of Malvern, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014.
Pat was born in Knoxville, AR on July 20, 1926 to Walter and Loretta (Robertson) Capps. He was one of ten children. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp in W W II serving in the Philippines. He was also a retiree of Reynolds Aluminum. Pat loved to work on small engines after he retired, and loved to be outside, especially at deer camp. He was the president of Capps Hunt Club and also a member of Meadow View Missionary Baptist Church.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; six sisters; and two grandchildren.
Pat is survived by his wife, Josie Mae (Burrow) Capps of Little Rock; his son, Alan (Carolyn) Capps of Little Rock; two daughters, Carolyn Capps of Malvern and Susan Carter of Marysville, OH.; three grandchildren; five great -grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family that love and will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Chapel. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Atkinson Chapel. Burial will follow at DeRouche Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the guys at deer camp.
